Singapore's China PRC Ferrari Accident at Bugis

Above: Video of PRC Ferrari driver crushing into the taxi from the left at a high speed, taken by a third party vehicle who was nearly victimized.

A PRC Ferrari driver, MA CHI, beat the redlight at Bugis, Singapore, at an extremely high speed, that caused the death of a taxi driver and his Japanese passenger.

The mainstream media Straits Times started the reporting with complimenting of the PRC guy, singing praises of his "tall" and "charming" appearance. It also boasted about his wealthiness and talent, which sparkles angers from the local Singaporeans for the insensitive report. The media also claimed that Ma Chi was a not a heavy drinker, which directly implied that the fatal accidental was unlikely to be caused by drunk driving.

People think the state media should be focusing more about the accident and not trying to paint the PRC guy into good book. The locals have grown anti-PRC sentiment since there are quite a number of major accidents in Singapore caused by them. The immigrants from China is a government policy.

A Facebook user posted:

March - PRC man hijacked a Taxi and drove to budget terminal, killing a cleaner.
April - PRC bus conductor drove over a poor lady when she was crossing the road legally and continued to do so for a couple of distance, killing her on the spot.
May - PRC 'rich, handsome' guy from Sichuan sped through red light in his Ferrari and crashes onto a right-turning taxi, killing the driver and the female passenger.

The rich and powerful are ignorant. The poor are suffering. Welcome to Singapore.

However, there are also some Singapore citizens who want the issue to get over soon:

If you're trying to imply that the family of the dead woman should sue the family of the reckless driver, think about how its not the familys fault that the driver was reckless.

The driver is already dead. End.

The killed taxi driver's company, ComfortDelGro, has started a donation drive for his family (Yahoo! News):

Meanwhile, for those who want to help the Chengs, cash donations can be dropped off at the cashier located next to the general service counter on level 1 of ComfortDelGro’s office located in Sin Ming during office hours (Mondays-Fridays, 8am - 5.30pm) by end of this month.
